Money for the event helps an oncology clinic in Morehead City. But participants say the tournament does more than raise money, it brings the downtown area to life.

"It's a lot of excitement and a lot of fun,” said Big Rock sponsor Bill Rogerson. “Not only for the local community but for the state actually and it's just a huge event."
