Before we got all the results though, we were treated to some different performances. The band Gipsy Kings did "You've Got a Friend in Me" and were accompanied by the pro DWTS dancers who showed off the Paso Doble dance moves that inspire a dance seen in Toy Story 3. The dance will be part of a scene featuring "Spanish Buzz" and Jessie the Cowgirl. Dancers Cheryl and Tony visited Pixar studios to show animators and other film workers their moves in order to help out with the movie.

Also, there was the first ever college dance-off on DWTS Tuesday night. The first two participating colleges were UC San Diego and Purdue University. UC SD had the bigger group and ended up with the slightly better score of 24. Purdue scored just a 22. The viewers will now place votes online or via phone call to give the remainder of the two teams' scores.

And now for the Dancing with the Stars results for May 11, 2010. Early in the show, Nicole Scherzinger was among the safe ones. She was also featured in a "DanceCenter" skit where she was shown cleaning the dancefloor as Jerry Rice, Kenny Mayne (ESPN) and Len Goodman told her not to stay too long. Jerry Rice popped back out to tell her she missed a spot. That hard work is paying off for Nicole who is among the top contestants and achieved a perfect 30 Monday night.

Who else was safe? Olympic medal winning ice skater, Evan Lysacek is moving on to the semifinals. Towards the end of the show it was down to Niecy, Chad Ochocinco and Erin Andrews. They seem to be dangling Andrews in the bottom 3 lately, but she was safe. So who goes home Niecy or Ochocinco? Unfortunately it will be Miss Gettin Jiggly wit it, Niecy Nash. She wasn't quite as teary-eyed as The Bachelor was upon his exit, but Niecy was so grateful for the time on the show. After all, she's a 40 year-old mom of 3 kids. Great work by Niecy on the show, her bubbly and bright personality will be missed!
